Jackie is a registered Nutritional Therapist applying the principles of Functional Medicine.

Nutritional therapy is about using food and natural supplements to optimise health. There is a dynamic interaction between the systems in the body. Nutritional therapy addresses any imbalances and dysfunction in these interconnected systems. This is done through dietary, lifestyle and environmental advice.

Jackie’s approach is personalised, and specific to individual requirements. She can help clients address a wide range of chronic health issues including fatigue, digestive disorders, stress & anxiety, weight gain and skin issues through to metabolic disease, autoimmune conditions, endocrine and hormonal imbalance. Jackie can also provide advice on general wellbeing, guidance on specific dietary protocols or motivation to kick start a healthier way of life.

After three years of study at the reputable College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in Edinburgh, Jackie qualified as a Registered Nutritional Therapist. At CNM she was trained to understand how nutrients and food influence the function of the body. Functional medicine principles were taught to enable her to address the root cause of symptoms in a science based approach. Jackie practice out of Jan de Vries, Edinburgh West End and am also Head of Nutritional Therapy at CogMission, an organisation focusing on Brain Health, Prevention and Cognitive Decline. She is a member of and regulated by the British Association for Applied Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and a member of The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Jackie’s other accreditations include:
